Overview:
The S-MATE extreme switch mate can connect the ordinary 1/2/3-button wall switch which acts as a remote controller. S-MATE extreme switch mate is battery-powered, so it does not require a neutral wire in the mounting box.
SONOFF S-MATE extreme switch mate is an “eWeLink-Remote sub-deviceâ€. SONOFF S-MATE extreme switch mate can locally control the devices through the eWeLink Remote signal after connecting with the eWeLink Remote gateway device (such as MINIR4, DUALR3/DUALR3 Lite, M5, NSPanel Pro) and setting a local scene. S-MATE2 also controls any other SONOFF smart device in the smart scene when there is a network connection. It is “eWeLink-Remote” Control.
Compared with S-MATE, the S-MATE2 size is smaller, the battery life is longer (5 years) and double-click and long press are available when S-MATE2 is connected to a push button switch.
