This wireless smart device allows for the control of connected devices like motorized gates, garage doors, irrigation systems, or other electric devices/circuits via the on-board relays. The device can be controlled by pressing the corresponding button on the 3D enclosure, by setting time schedules for different days or remotely via the Tuya or Smart Life Apps or RF remote controls (RF control only available on RF devices). The relays are potential free and support Normally Open, Normally Close, and Common (NO, NC, COM) connections.
The module can be set to Inching and Self-locking modes via the physical button on the board.
- Self-locking mode: Once the button is pressed (on-device or remotely) to switch the connected device on or off, the state will be maintained until the button is pressed again.
- Inching mode: Once the button is pressed (on-device or remotely) the connected device will turn on or off for a pre-determined time (1 second). Note that the relay does not provide power to the connected device / appliance but merely open or close the switch (or circuit).
It is compatible with Tuya Zigbee Bridges (and the Tuya or Smart Life smartphone app and platform). It can be wirelessly controlled by Tuya RF remote controllers.
The smart relay requires a 5V USB or 7V-32V AC/DC power supply. The controlled circuits operate independently from the relay’s power supply, the relay supports 90-250V/10A AC connected to COM input or manages 0-30V/10A DC, in either NO or NC connection mode. The smart device manages voltage-free dry-contact switching too.
