Note: Whilst the Mini-D’s relay can be used to trigger a garage door or sliding gate, initial tests suggest that a reed sensor wired to the switch terminals are not effective to transform the Mini-D into a Garage Door Opener (with sensor). We will update this note as soon as we find a solution.

Overview
MINI-D is a Wi-Fi dry contact smart switch that supports AC/DC power supply. It can be used to control motors, garage doors, and other dry contact input devices, offering remote control, voice control, and other functions through the APP. With Matter protocol support, it can work across various third-party platforms like Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple Home and Home Assistant, making it easier for users to manage their smart home ecosystem, and enjoy a seamless smart home experience.
With the MINI-D dry contact, it is easy to “smartify” existing electrical devices such as garage doors, geysers, and more . You can open or close your garage door from anywhere using a smartphone app; you also can build a thermostat automation system for homes and buildings to optimize comfort and energy efficiency. Its time-scheduling functions can be customised according to your habits and is also integrated with other smart home devices like SONOFF Zigbee thermostatic radiator valve, leading to lower bills and a more comfortable living environment.
