Use this module to control a switch or devise based on an input trigger such as:
- Garage door:
- Input trigger: Magnetic contact sensor
- Output trigger: Garage door motor (Trigger and common)
- Electric gate:

- Output trigger: Gate motor (Trigger and common)
- Water pump:
- Input trigger: Float switch
- Output trigger: Water pump starter / contactor

- Input: Contact or Motion sensor
- Output: relay connected to Siren

- Input: NO / NC Contactor on power supply line
- Output: indicator lamp or App notification
The module is WiFi enabled and can therefore be controlled remotely by smartphone. The APP (eWelink) is available for free download and works flawlessly with other eWeLink devices such as Sonoff switches. The APP will also allow one to receive notifications of events. A log will also be available on the app of all recent events and time schedules can be set as necessary
Both the input trigger as well as the output triggers are 0V (potential free), and the output should ideally be used to activate a trigger on another device or a relay / contactor.
The Eachen GD-DC5 is originally a WiFi enabled Garage Door Opener, but this version ships without the magnetic reed sensor (available as a separate option) that is normally used to sense when the doors are opened. It operates on the same app as Sonoff, making it extremely convenient to create scenes to control devices from the same place as your lights, swimming pool pump and any other devices that you may have linked to Sonoff switches.

A USB cable is included to provide 5V DC power. Please note that the 5V power plug is not included and that any suitable 5V cellphone charger or 12 to 5v converter (available as an optional extra on the site) can be used for this. A 5v, minimum 1A charger is recommended.
Installation
You can test if the GD-DC5 will work directly on the opener motor by connecting a wire to the same terminals as the wall button wires (usually marked Trigger / TRG / BT and Common / COM / GND). If the door activates, then your garage door opener is compatible with the Eachen GD-DC5. If the door does not activate, then the opener is not compatible and should be connected to the remote controller or the wall console.
Easy Installation:
- Power up the device with DC 5V adapter and micro USB cable.
- Connect the Red & Black wires to your garage door opener: Put each end to the same terminals as the wall button wires are terminated to.
- Connect the sensor and secure to the garage door with screws, 3M tape and / or bracket.
- Control the device from your smart phone.
Notes:
- The power supply is DC 5V/1A and 12V to 5V converter is not included in the package.
- The device can not connect to 5G-WiFi/mesh WiFi/WiFi hue/WiFi bridge, only 2.4G-Wifi is supported.
