This Programmable Delay Timer Relay Module has a bult-in LCD that can be used to set the various parameters.
Different modes are available, including On / Off upon trigger, On / Off after an initial delay and On/Off after an initial delay and reversal after another delay. In addition, a cycle time for repeat triggers are available on some of the modes.
Specifications:
- Operating voltage: DC 6V – 30V, including micro USB 5V
- Trigger voltage: DC 6V – 30V
- Operating current: 50mA, static current: 20mA
- Working temperature: -20?60?
- Relay specification: < AC 250V/10A, < DC 30V/10A
- Size: 6.4 x 3.8 x 1.7cm
Available Modes:
Applying voltage (6v to 30V) to the trigger connections, will trigger the defined mode below:
- P1:?Triggering the module, will immediately ?activate? the Relay for the period defined in ?OP? and then deactivate the relay. The below sub-modes determine what happens when another Trigger is received during the Activation period:
- P1.1: Repeat trigger is ignored.
- P1.2: Repeat trigger will restart OP duration.
- P1.3: Repeat trigger will deactivate the Relay and reset OP counter.
- P2: The trigger will initiate a period where the relay remains Deactivated for the duration defined by CL, then Activate the relay for the period defined by OP. After the time defined by OP, the relay will deactivate again.
- P3.1: Once Triggered, the relay will Activate for the OP time, then deactivate for the period defined by CL, whereafter the cycle will repeat for the number of times defined by LOP.
- P3.2:?Relay Activates as soon as module receives power (therefore no Trigger is required). The relay will remain activated for the OP period, then deactivate for the CL period. This cycle will repeat for LOP times.
- P4: Relay Activates as soon as module receives power (therefore no Trigger is required). During the activated period, any Trigger will reset the OP time and will therefore delay the deactivation time.
Setting parameters:
- STOP Button:
- Short press toggles between OFF and ON. Programs will only run when module is in ON mode.
- Long press (> 2 seconds): Toggles between Sleep Mode (C-P) and Normal Mode (O-d). Sleep Mode will allow the LCD display to turn off during periods of inactivity. The Sleep Mode may reset to normal when the module was disconnected from power.
- Short press during programming: Toggles timing Decimal setting (during programming) 0.1 second, 1 second, 1 min, and finally Hr.Min(x10).Sec.
- SET Button:
- Long press (> 2 seconds): Enters Programming mode and confirms Programming.
- Short press: Toggles programming parameters OP, CL and LOP.
Programming process:
- Enter the programming mode by Long Press (> 2 sec) of the SET button.
- Select and set the mode (P1.1 ~ P-4) by short pressing the UP and DOWN buttons.
- Confirm by (short) pressing the SET button whereafter the menu will move to the next setting for the selected Mode, e.g. OP, CL and LOP.
- For each of the available options, select the time, by using the UP and DOWN buttons and confirming each setting with a short press of the SET button. The Decimal option may be changed for any of the settings by short press of the STOP button. Note that some options may not be available for the selected Mode.
- Confirm and exit Programming Mode by pressing the ?SET? button for 2 seconds and release. The current setting mode will flash and return to the main interface.
Available parameters, can be selected by a short press of the SET button and may include the following depending on the selected Mode:
- OP = on time,
- CL = off time,
- LOP = cycle times (1 – 999 times, “—” stands for infinite cycles)
Included in Package?
- DC 6-30V Timer Relay Module with LED display (No manual included)
Notes:
- Some Module versions have an option to reverse the relay operation by pressing the “DOWN” button for longer than 2 seconds. (Toggles between Modes F1 (Default) and F2 (Reverse).
